Art is a cornerstone of a thriving community! No matter the medium, artistic expression has the power to bring us together, enrich lives, and boost both economies and personal confidence. It’s never too late to learn something new, and many of us are already artists and curators (even if we don’t claim the title). Our kitchen walls at home have art collected on them, we sing in the car, we enjoy watching actors, or we learned a creative skill passed down from the prior generation - and maybe now have something to teach others. The Condon Arts Council recognizes and is proud to support local art on a variety of levels- hobbyists, makers, craftsmen, professionals and as well as strives to increase exposure to the arts - for all ages - in our frontier rural community. We believe that our kids deserve every opportunity to discover the arts and that space for creativity should be accessible throughout a lifetime. Art is for everyone!
